項目位于廣東陽江海陵島西南端，海陵島享有“南方北戴河”和“東方夏威夷”之美稱，是南方的度假勝地。該島未來將打造成巨型綜合文旅項目——開發住宅、別墅、度假酒店、商場購物建筑群，配套濱海運動場地、水上劇場、兒童水上樂園、濕地公園、酒吧風情街、康養公園等休閑娛樂場所。

It enjoys the reputation of “Beidaihe in the South” and “Hawaii in the East” and is a resort in the south. In the future, the island will be transformed into a huge comprehensive cultural and tourism project –developing residential buildings, villas, resort hotels, shopping complexes,supporting coastal sports venues, water theater, children’s water park, wetland park, bar style street, health park and other leisure and entertainment venues.}

經過設計師多次實地考察、勘探、取景，最終發掘出了用地發展潛力可觀、地質地勢滿足建造條件、擁有最佳朝向及觀景視野的南側懸崖之上，泳池三面環山，南面臨海，占地近3000平方米，建造歷時15個月，耗資近4000萬元。

凡塵之外·與海為鄰

^{Concept · Beyond the mortal world and Adjacent to the sea}

設計采用現代極簡手法，懷著對自然壯麗之景的無限向往，用最少的線條、最少的色彩、以及對生態最低的干預行為，在陡峭懸崖之上“放置”一座泳池，讓其與周邊山海環境緊密相連，讓游客真正地投入到山海與天的懷抱。

海島懸崖泳池坐北朝南，北倚山巒，讓游客迎著南面最柔和干凈的海風，觀賞太陽、月亮東升西落、潮汐朝晚漲退之景象，感受自然之神奇與壯觀。

泳池鋪磚選取淡雅的淺藍色，在陽光和水面的折射作用下，投射出沁人心脾的夢幻藍色光澤，且與海水的蔚藍形成一定的顏色差，讓海面顏色層次更為豐富，給游客帶來難忘的視覺享受。泳池周邊的綠化空間，種植著獨特的棕櫚科樹種，如酒瓶椰子、紅刺林投、狐尾椰子等，與周邊山體和懸崖的原生植物群落和諧相融的同時，散發出濃烈的亞熱帶度假風情。

^{Construction·Between mountains and the sea}

從項目籌劃階段、設計定案、再到竣工落成，設計團隊面對并解決了一個又一個艱巨的挑戰。首先是對于現場條件的熟知與評判，需要設計師反復地考察和勘探地形地質，并進行精密地結構力學計算，以確保設計具備安全性、可實施性。其次，為克服山地懸崖條件限制，如為保護周邊環境，建造不啟用大型機械設備輔助作業，大部分建造工作都需要人力運送和人工安裝完成，另外克服了建造材料二次轉運、沿海棧道修建、山路陡坡修建等困難。

設計團隊通過多次的現場勘探，對現場地形和植物的理解，確定了需要保留的區域和整改范圍，在設計過程中，不但保留了大量的現有喬木和灌木，也通過優化場地植物組團、點綴景觀構筑物，而增加了自然有趣而各有特色的空間，確保由始至終視覺體驗的統一。
