Oi!一直致力于社區(qū)建設(shè)，將設(shè)計(jì)與日常生活聯(lián)系起來，呈現(xiàn)香港的歷史和文化。它透過廣泛的展覽、項(xiàng)目、社區(qū)活動(dòng)、分享和協(xié)辦，讓公眾和社區(qū)參與不同的設(shè)計(jì)，證明文物和現(xiàn)代是可以共存的。 

Oi! has always been dedicated to the building of community and bridging design with everyday lives that celebrate the history and culture of Hong Kong. It has proven through its wide range of exhibitions, events, community activities, sharing and collaborations that heritage and modernity could coexist through design that engages the public and the neighborhood.

Oi!的活動(dòng)和節(jié)目向來多元化，而我們的設(shè)計(jì)受傳統(tǒng)物品啟發(fā)，同時(shí)以現(xiàn)代化的方式表現(xiàn)，達(dá)致高度靈活的用途和布局，使其看似靜態(tài)但適應(yīng)力極強(qiáng)，賦予了另一種活力。這個(gè)設(shè)計(jì)也可以根據(jù)社區(qū)的環(huán)境和場(chǎng)合而改變。 

Understanding the diversity of events and programs Oi! offers, we try to devise a proposal that is inspired by traditional objects while bestowing upon it a modern interpretation to cater for the flexible uses, layouts and programs so that the intervention is not static but dynamic and changeable. It could evolve based on contexts and occasions with the community.

長(zhǎng)椅是香港公共空間中非常普遍的物品，它們?yōu)橄愀鄣奈幕蜕鐓^(qū)帶來不少貢獻(xiàn) 。從舊時(shí)代的大排檔木長(zhǎng)椅到香港現(xiàn)代公園的普通長(zhǎng)椅，長(zhǎng)椅為休憩、聊天、玩樂，甚至用餐提供了空間。長(zhǎng)椅具有上述不同的形式和功能，但「連里枝」嘗試以高度靈活的系統(tǒng)同時(shí)滿足許多不同的社區(qū)場(chǎng)景。它可以根據(jù)在Oi!中擺放的位置來改變它的布局和形式，并根據(jù)不同場(chǎng)合或活動(dòng)演變成符合需要的物件。

Benches are very mundane objects in HK public spaces but they contribute so much to the culture and communities of Hong Kong. From dai pai dong wood benches in the old days to a common bench in a contemporary park in Hong Kong, benches provide a social space for resting, chatting, playing or even dining. While benches could have different forms and functions as stated above, “Branching Benches” tries to reinterpret the benches that could cater to many different community scenarios through a highly mobilizable and modular system. It can change its layout and forms based on where it is placed in Oi! and what is needed based on the different programs or events.
